Jewish prayer book, written in Hebrew with an Italian introduction page. Book features a brass framed tortoise shell cover the cover and back panel, a brass decorative clasp & emblem set within the center. The book has a curved spine and gold-edged pages. No page numbers.
Marking: Intro page states printed in Livono (Italy) in 1854 by M.Mortara

19th century ivory chess set with black laqueer wood board. Board folds to store chess pieces, edge is decorated with gilded lanscape of florals and trees.
A unique cloisonne wall panel, circa late 18th century. Rectangular shaped, finely decorated with auspicious items symbolizing long life happiness and prosperity arranged in a still life and in the center there is the nobility mark of the family, missing original frame.
Italian criminal code law book, 'Codice Penale Vol 5', c. 1894. Features original outer cover, leather spinal cover with gold gilded text, cover page, and all pages within are intact. Codice Penale Vol 5 is by Giulio Crivellari, Editor Torino Unione Tipografico - Editrice 33 - Via Carlo Alberto - 33, Milano - Roma - Napoli , 1894. The book is in great condition, no mold.
