A white carrara marble sculpture, circa 18th century. Purchased from a private collector.

Benedetto Boscetti (1820-1860), bronze figure of the young pan, after the antique, late 19th century. Standing with a flute in his right hand, wearing an animal cloak, resting above verde antico marble base.
Measures: 28 in. tall (71 cm) bronze; 6 in tall (15 cm) marble base.
Markings: Signed by artist
Edward Melcarth (1914 - 1973) Heroic Head, sometimes referred to as the 'Roma Head' sculpture, dated 1968. Cast bronze head is mounted on square plinth. This sculpture was made in limited quantities.
