Beautiful Simon Halbig (S&H) doll with bisque head. She has perfect bisque, blue glass sleep eyes, modeled and painted eyebrows, pierced ears (earrings not present), rosy cheeks, and an open mouth showing her teen through her pretty little lips. She is wearing a lovely pink dress with lace accents, a matching lace antique hat, socks, laced shoes, and a white glass beaded necklace. History: Simon & Halbig (S & H) was founded in 1839, they began making dolls from 1869-1920. They are known for their fine bisque doll heads and innovation in the doll industry. Markings: Back of head is marked "Germany", Halbrig Simon's marking "S&H", "1078" for the head mold, and "4".

Condition: Good condition, her body is fully jointed - shows normal surface wear in accordance with age. There is a slight crack on the upper thigh area on one of the legs.
Elegant evening purse from Paris, France c. 1880s. The purse features an elaborate embroidery of an outdoor landscape within a floral motif border and a decorative metal mount with a chain handle.
Markings: Inside is marked "P.H. Paris" with a makers mark.
